Licentiate Certificate
The entry-level III qualification. Two streams available — Life Insurance and General Insurance. Compulsory papers: IC-01 for all students, plus IC-02 (Life) or IC-11 (General). One elective from Table 1 completes the certification.
Associateship Diploma (AIII)
The mid-level III qualification. Builds on Licentiate credits. Compulsory papers vary by stream (IC-45 + IC-46 for General; IC-22 + IC-26 for Life). Electives from 23 available Table 1 papers complete the 250 Credit Points.
Fellowship Diploma (FIII)
The highest qualification offered by the Insurance Institute of India. Builds on Associateship credits. At least one actuarial paper is compulsory. Electives from Table 1 complete the 490 Credit Points.
Specialised Diplomas
Stand-alone diploma certifications. These papers do not carry Credit Points toward Licentiate, Associate, or Fellowship — they are separate qualifications.
