The entry qualification of the Insurance Institute of India. Two streams: Life Insurance and General Insurance.
What is the Licentiate Certificate?
The Licentiate is the entry-level qualification offered by the Insurance Institute of India (III). It certifies foundational knowledge of insurance principles and practice. The qualification requires 60 Credit Points, earned by passing three papers — two compulsory and one elective.
Licentiate is a prerequisite for the Associateship Diploma. Students choose between the Life Insurance stream or the General Insurance stream at this level.
